Beth Fanta and I were sitting in Bestor Plaza when we heard this sharp scraping sound. We turned to see a woman dragging what was once a small, wheeled shopping cart along the sidewalk, only now, it was without wheels. The sight made both of us pause in our tracks. I got to thinking about what life is like when the wheels come off. I certainly had the best of intentions to keep my blog going over the summer – but then the wheels came off. Too much to do, too little time, too many competing demands. I thank God for the KDS members who offered a helping hand, a word of encouragement or showed me the many ways in which our work was bearing fruit. The wheels are once again fixed in place and on we roll!
