Friendship Manor Site Map

It is a nonprofit community founded by the Illinois King’s Daughters and Sons back in 1979. Friendship Manor is the Illinois Quad Cities only Continuing Care Retirement Community and today provides about $1 million in charity care yearly.

Residents and visitors have commented that “It feels like home” so often that the phrase is now the theme for Friendship Manor. King’s Daughters and Sons serve on the Friendship Manor Board, and volunteer throughout the retirement community. Ruth’s Country Store is named after life-long King’s Daughter and Past Illinois Branch President, Ruth VanEchaute…a wonderful and devoted friend of the Manor. Profits from Ruth’s Country Store go to help purchase needed equipment and supplies.

In the summer of 2014, Friendship Manor opened Friendship Place, a thirteen unit senior villa community across the street from the main campus. Friendship Place is fully occupied with 21 new residents.
