The WV Branch Project is The King’s Daughters Child Care Center in Wheeling.
The Center was founded in 1898 and has served the community since that time. Founded on the philosophy of the International Order of The King’s Daughters and Sons, “Not to be ministered unto, but to minister…,” The King’s Daughters Child Care Centers, Inc., serves the Wheeling area through the operation of the Child Care Center. A private, non-profit corporation governed by a board of local volunteers, The King’s Daughters Child Care Center, Inc. operates with the mission of providing quality child care services that promote the physical, emotional, and social health and growth of the children enrolled in its program. Services are provided on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, income, religion, handicapping condition, or parent’s age or marital status. The Child Care Center’s goal is to provide an environment that will enrich the life experiences of each child so as to promote growth and development within a positive and healthy framework.
