Heather Whitehouse, President of Faith Circle, presents a $1,500 cheque to L'Arche Hamilton Autism Initiative, on behalf of KDS.
Below Heather presents a cheque for $1,500 to a representative of the Welcome Inn Community Centre in Hamilton, in support of their literacy project.
Jackie Maurais, president of OCU, gives Tracy Davidson, Chapter Manager, Development & Fundraising for Autism Ontario, a cheque for $3,500 for a new activity: Parent Advocacy Opportunity, which supports parents making their way through a new diagnosis through Peer to Peer support. Autism Ontario holds a fundraiser each year: Cycle for Autism. In Ottawa this event will be held Sept. 27 and Ottawa KDS has signed on, as a gold level sponsor.
