The Ernest Workers Circle of Meridian, Mississippi had a field trip to Center Ridge Outpost, a summer camp for autistic youth. Campers are given the opportunity to express themselves through art, athletics, and worship. Through the years the Ernest Workers Circle has supported the camp by providing funds to build several cabins to lodge the campers and the administration building that houses the kitchen and dining hall. Willing Hearts Circle of Brookhaven provided a swimming pool to cool campers when the Mississippi summer heat becomes too intense to endure. During the Circles’ visit, they became aware of a cabin needing repair. Ernest Workers Circle President, Maureen Burnside and her husband, Andy, who is a building contractor, returned a few weeks later to complete the repairs. What a great example of being an Ernest Worker, In His Name!
