STUDENT MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIP DEPARTMENT
Scholarships are awarded to those in financial need who have answered God’s call on their lives and are enrolled full-time in a Master of Divinity program in an accredited seminary or college.
A Student Ministry Scholarship is typically $1,000 for a full academic year. Renewal scholarships are provided as well.

The King’s Daughters and Sons members strive to “care for all God’s children through service In His Name.” Since the Student Ministry Scholarship Department was created in 1970, The King’s Daughters and Sons organization has given over 1,250 seminary scholarships, investing in the future leaders of the Christian church.
Who is eligible?
Applicants must be FULL-TIME graduate students in a Master of Divinity program in a school or seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States or Canada.
The applicant must be a citizen of the United States or Canada. A 3.0 GPA or above must be maintained for all graduate and undergraduate work.

Completed applications and required documents, other than letters of recommendation and official transcripts, must be sent by postal mail. Letters of recommendation and official transcripts may be emailed to the director (if preferred by the seminary and/or those writing the letters of recommendation), but everything must be received by her on or before April 1 to be considered.
Am I eligible for a scholarship for more than one academic year?
IOKDS funds renewal scholarships as well. When a continuing student reapplies, the student receives a new application form to be completed with the addition of an updated resume and an official transcript. The application must be postmarked by April 1 with an official transcript mailed to the director as soon as possible, but no later than mid-June.
