May I choose classes from the Special Studies catalog?
More than 300 non-credit classes are offered during the season. During Weeks 2 and 3, you will be encouraged to select from a wide variety of classes in art, business and finance, technology, dance, music, education, foreign language, games and recreation, handcrafts and hobbies, health and fitness, literature and writing, personal and professional development, religion and philosophy. $250 of your scholarship is reserved for Special Studies classes and materials. After you have used the allotted amount, any additional courses are at your own expense. You will be asked to select a minimum of one class per week for Weeks 2 and 3 only. These classes are for personal enrichment and offer a supportive learning environment with students of all ages and skills. Only classes being held on the grounds may be selected.
